Internship Overview
Our company is seeking a Finance & Accounting Major interested in obtaining practical experience in all areas of accounting, purchasing and inventory principles. Our company uses and the Intern will be responsible for coordinating and working with our Accounting, Purchasing and Inventory systems for record accuracy using established policies and procedures, and performing basic bookkeeping & data entry functions, identifying, reconciling, and documenting discrepancies. Will update supplier related information and provide support for the active projects critical to the business. The intern will work closely with the Controller and Supply Chain Manager.
The intern position is a shared internship between Accounting and Supply Chain. Both positions will be responsible for accounting principles and procedures of both departments and may work exclusively for one department or the other or shared between the two intermittently.

Responsibilities
Ensure the integrity of accounting information by verifying, allocating, posting and entering transactions.
Assist Controller with month-end account reconciliation.
Assist Controller with financial statements.
Assist Controller with managing and maintaining general ledgers.
Assist Controller with the Reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
Collaborate with accounting team on coding and other accounting functions
Assist the Supply Chain Manager in the Purchasing/Inventory System entering or developing purchase orders
Assists Supply Chain Manager with ordering parts and equipment and research cost effective vendors
Problem solving and support daily purchasing invoice transactions.
Provide Inventory control assistance as needed
Assist Supply Chain Team Manager with shipping and receiving where needed
Requirements
Student should be seeking a Bachelor’s or other degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
Has completed at least 2 years in field of study.
Already completed studies in all basic accounting principles and procedures.
Understanding of accounting software.
Proficient in MS Excel.

Position Title: Project Coordinator – Night Shift

Accountable to: Service Manager – Operations
7 & 7 - 12 Hour Shifts
Primary Objective of Position
To manage local real-time operations which facilitate the maximization of resources (human and automated) to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence and economic goals of the company.
Major Areas of Accountability
1. Participates in daily activities of Network Operations and Incident Command Center to maximize scheduling and real-time utilization of resources, based on customer needs.
2. Interfaces with Director or Managed Services and Service Manager to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence.
3. Works closely with identifying potential issues with coordination of field activities and can quickly resolve scheduling issues, both internally and externally.
4. Monitors the real time activity of cases that are in the CRM database. Makes corrections as needed and educates other Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Customer Service Representatives on accurately getting information into CRM system.
5. Escalates and directs activities during systems problems, disasters, etc.; identifies potential problems, troubleshoots, escalates issues to with local and remote networks.
6. Participates in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process(es) as appropriate with Network Services and Project Management.
7. Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully formed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Knowledge and Skill Required

JOB SUMMARY

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· 1 year of general accounting experience

SUMMARY
Installs, repairs and performs moves, adds and changes to communications and network systems in support of customers operations. Assist in the design of customer networks and assist in applications (sales) engineering and quote development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include the following. However, other duties within the employee’s capability may be assigned. Reviews work orders to move, change, install, or repair communications/networking equipment. Develops action plans to carry out work orders.
Properly and efficiently uses basic hand tools such as drills, hole saws, crimp tools, etc.
Measures, cuts and installs wires and cables and conducts performance tests of same.
Installs, tests, troubleshoots and programs Very Small Aperture Satellite (VSAT) systems with minimal assistance.
Installs programs and configures peripheral equipment to function as part of voice and/or data systems.
Performs computer operation and maintenance tasks such as installing software and drivers, connecting peripherals, checking for proper operation on the network, etc.
Utilizes communications service monitors, network analyzers, software and other test equipment to conduct performance tests of communications/network systems. Analyzes the results of performance tests and formulates action plans to optimize communications system performance.
Assists in the training of other technicians working toward higher levels of expertise.
Maintains a working knowledge of communications technologies, including, but not limited to; digital microwave, two-way radio communications, satellite, VoIP, Frame Relay, networking equipment, cabling, DC power systems, fiber optic networks and the interconnection of these systems.

The work is performed at a ratio of approximately 70% onshore and 30% offshore. JOB SUMMARY
